Consolidated Construction Raises $43K for Children’s Miracle Network

GREEN BAY, Wis – What began as a simple casino night after Consolidated Construction Company’s annual training has evolved into a powerful charitable initiative. This year’s event, known as “Consolidated for a Cause,” united 120 employees around a shared mission to support a meaningful cause and give back to their communities.
Employees across the company played an active role in making the event a success. Some employees tapped into 45 long-standing business partnerships to secure sponsorships, while others contributed by donating raffle baskets or participating in raffles, games, and other activities throughout the evening. Many did both, creating a collaborative effort that reflected the company’s team spirit.

The result? A remarkable $43,796.57 raised for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, funding that will directly support families in need of critical medical care.

Before the event, employees nominated and voted on charities close to their hearts. This year’s beneficiary was chosen after Consolidated team member Melissa shared her family’s personal journey and the life-saving care they received through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Her emotional story struck a chord with her colleagues, inspiring them to rally behind the organization.
“We are incredibly proud of our team members for rallying behind an amazing cause to give back to their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals,” said Michelle Rueckl, Vice President of Human Resources at Consolidated Construction. “This event’s success is a direct outcome from their legwork. Without them, we have zero donations, sponsors, or funds raised. Watching our employees and partners come together with such purpose is nothing short of inspiring.”
A check presentation to the Children’s Miracle Network took place in Appleton on Tuesday, celebrating the company’s achievement and the collective effort behind it.

Consolidated team members and supporters gather at the 2025 “Consolidated for a Cause” fundraiser.
The funds raised will be distributed among three hospitals: Children’s Wisconsin in Wauwatosa, Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls, and Sanford Children’s North Dakota in Bismarck. Each hospital was selected based on its proximity to Consolidated’s three office locations, ensuring that the impact stays local to the communities where employees live and work.
The company says it plans to continue the “Consolidated for a Cause” tradition each year, selecting a new charity annually through the same employee-driven nomination and voting process. By doing so, Consolidated Construction aims to sustain its commitment to community involvement and charitable giving well into the future.
