Sealed Bids for Site Improvements, Demolition, and Abatement

Sealed bids for the Chip Factory Hampton Inn project in Columbia, PA, which includes site improvements, demolition, abatement, and masonry restoration, will be received and publicly opened at the Wohlsen Construction Office located at 1295 Manheim Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 on December 20th at 4:00 PM.

Bidders are hereby informed that the construction of this project is partially funded by a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and is governed by the Davis-Bacon Act of March 3, 1931, as amended. Contractors are required to pay wages in accordance with the Wage Decision from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which is included in the specifications. Additionally, all bidders must adhere to the provisions of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Executive Order 11246, and any other applicable orders prohibiting employment discrimination. Bidders should note that a completed Attachment B from the Section 3 Action Plan, included in the specifications, must be submitted; failure to do so will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive.
