IRVING, Texas — Las Colinas — The American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) has announced plans to host its 2026 Construction Industry Forum on February 26, 2026, bringing together construction industry leaders and ACCE-accredited academic programs to address workforce readiness, emerging technologies, and evolving industry needs.

The one-day Forum will be held in conjunction with the ACCE Midyear Conference at the OMNI Hotel & Resort in Las Colinas, Texas, and is designed to strengthen collaboration between construction employers and educational institutions responsible for preparing the industry’s future workforce.
Programming will center on practical discussions, live demonstrations, and strategic conversations focused on how technology and leadership development are reshaping construction operations, project delivery, and talent pipelines.
Forum highlights will include live demonstrations of construction robotics and implementation strategies, discussions on how artificial intelligence is transforming construction planning, execution, and risk management, and sessions exploring the growing role of digital twins in both construction practice and education. Additional programming will examine mentorship, leadership development, and succession planning through a Future Leaders panel, as well as the role of Industry Advisory Boards in shaping workforce-ready graduates.
The agenda will also feature insights into the value of ACCE-accredited degree programs for employers seeking consistent, job-ready talent, along with a session examining pre-construction as a specialized and growing career pathway within construction management programs.
“The Construction Industry Forum is intentionally built to connect what’s happening on jobsites and in offices today with how we prepare tomorrow’s professionals,” said Paul Mattingly, Chair of the ACCE Industry Partnership Committee. “This event gives contractors and industry leaders a direct voice in shaping curriculum, talent development, and the future capabilities of the construction workforce.”
For construction firms, the Forum provides opportunities to influence how future employees are trained, gain early insight into emerging workforce and technology trends, build relationships with accredited construction programs nationwide, and strengthen recruiting pipelines through direct engagement with educators and students.
Registration for the 2026 Construction Industry Forum opens December 15, 2025. The event is open to construction executives, operations leaders, HR and workforce development professionals, technology leaders, and Industry Advisory Board members.
More information and registration details are available through ACCE.
