MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Egnyte has announced the release of Project Hub, a new AI-powered solution built to streamline and secure the project data lifecycle for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) teams. The platform is designed to tackle long-standing coordination and documentation challenges, providing centralized oversight from project kickoff to closeout.
“Our customers work in a connected ecosystem, and we are continuing to enhance our platform to meet the evolving needs of the industry,” said Prasad Gune, Chief Product Officer at Egnyte. “The Project Hub acts as a central repository for all project data, providing users with real-time, comprehensive insights into their projects, storing everything from design files to field data."

Egnyte’s Project Hub introduces several new and enhanced capabilities to support secure collaboration and efficient workflows:
- Project Center: Gives users a real-time snapshot of all projects across various statuses—pending, active, or completed—via a streamlined interface for browsing, managing, and tracking progress.
- Project Setup Wizard: Standardizes project initiation by guiding teams through naming conventions, folder templates, and metadata setup.
- Project Folder Templates: Enforces consistency with pre-defined structures and permissions, helping scale best practices across an organization.
- Content Bridge: Enables federated collaboration between project partners with different Egnyte domains, while maintaining independent data controls.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Automates project closeout with built-in controls to revoke external access and apply retention or archival policies.
- Key Integrations: Syncs natively with platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Newforma, and BlueBeam to ensure smooth data flow and reduce duplication and versioning issues.
“The Project Hub is a tremendous value add to our end-users because it provides a standardized structure and central view of our projects and data,” said DJ Reynolds, Cyber Security and Network Administrator at GBBN. “The ability to template out project dashboards and folder structures saves our team significant time from the beginning stages of a project and makes it easy to refer to projects throughout their lifecycle and even after they’re closed out. It frees up our team to focus on designing, instead of combing through complex folder structures.”
Egnyte's Project Hub arrives at a pivotal moment for the AEC industry, where project data is becoming increasingly fragmented across teams, platforms, and partners. The solution reflects Egnyte’s broader strategy of integrating security, governance, and collaboration into a single, intelligent content platform.
For AEC firms juggling complex workflows and compliance demands, Project Hub offers a way to standardize operations without sacrificing flexibility, while reducing the risks of data silos and unauthorized access.
With more than 22,000 customers, Egnyte continues to deepen its presence in the AEC sector by developing tools that address real-world pain points—from project oversight and version control to partner coordination and secure data handoffs.
As firms scale up and adopt more technology in the field and office, solutions like Project Hub are expected to play a central role in driving productivity, consistency, and data security across the entire project lifecycle.
