Hover Unveils Unified Visual Platform for Home Improvement Pros

Hover has launched a reimagined version of its platform aimed at streamlining how home improvement professionals design, estimate and propose renovation projects, the company announced Jan. 13.
New Platform Unifies Design, Estimating and Proposals
The updated platform brings together measurements, design, estimating and proposal generation into a single visual workflow, allowing contractors to move from early design inspiration to homeowner-ready proposals without switching between multiple software tools. The release marks a major expansion of Hover’s original 3D property data offering into a fully connected, end-to-end renovation solution.

Built on Hover’s proprietary 3D property technology and powered by Hover AI, the platform draws from an industry-scale spatial database containing data on more than 10 million residential properties. According to the company, the integrated approach can replace as many as five separate applications commonly used by contractors, reducing manual data entry, minimizing errors and speeding up the sales process.
“Contractors today are being asked to deliver faster and more comprehensive estimates than ever before to meet the evolving consumer expectations. But the systems they rely on haven’t kept up,” says A.J. Altman, Founder & CEO of Hover. “The new connected Hover platform is a true all-in-one solution. Everything—measurements, design, estimates, and proposals—is built around a complete, detailed 3D property model. Pros can move from scope to sale in minutes, not days. It's the most significant evolution of our technology since Hover was founded, created for the expectations of the next generation of homeowners and the professionals who serve them.”
AI-Driven Tools Aim to Speed Projects From Scope to Sale
Among the most notable additions is automated estimating, which allows contractors to generate estimates directly from Hover’s 3D models and measurements. The feature applies pricing rules, margins, taxes and promotions automatically, helping contractors maintain accuracy while protecting profitability.
The platform also introduces native proposal creation tools, allowing users to build homeowner-facing proposals directly within Hover. Contractors can present side-by-side options, include pricing details and capture electronic signatures without relying on third-party proposal software, a shift the company says can help speed up deal closure and support business scaling.
Design capabilities have also been enhanced through a unified materials library, improved facet selection and smoother 2D-to-3D workflows, making it easier for contractors to visualize projects and iterate designs with clients. In addition, Hover’s workflow integrations now extend to more than 1,000 third-party tools across CRM, production and business management systems, enabling contractors to move data seamlessly across their existing tech stacks.
By consolidating scanning, scoping, design, estimating and proposals into a single visual environment, Hover aims to help contractors collaborate more efficiently while responding to rising homeowner expectations for speed, clarity and transparency.
The updated Hover platform became available to users beginning Jan. 13. More information is available through the company’s website.
