NEW YORK — JRM Construction Management has successfully completed one of the most ambitious interior construction projects in New York City history — a 1.3 million-square-foot build-out for JPMorgan Chase’s new global headquarters at 270 Park Avenue. Rising 1,388 feet above Midtown Manhattan, the new skyscraper, developed by Tishman Speyer and designed by Foster + Partners, represents the next generation of corporate office environments — blending sustainability, innovation, and wellness in a single, transformative workspace.

The massive interior program spans 28 floors and will accommodate over 10,000 employees, making it one of the largest single-tenant office build-outs ever completed in New York. JRM’s comprehensive scope included the delivery of premium office spaces, technology-driven conference centers, luxury dining areas, state-of-the-art wellness and fitness facilities, and advanced security centers — each designed to embody the project’s guiding motto: “Pride and Precision.”

The build-out was a result of extensive collaboration among top-tier partners including Foster & Partners, Gensler, Studios Architecture, and JBB, among others. The collective effort focused on integrating high-end finishes, smart workplace technologies, and sustainable materials that align with JPMorgan Chase’s forward-thinking vision for its workforce and corporate culture.

“JPMorgan Chase’s new global headquarters represents one of the most ambitious and forward-thinking interior construction projects ever undertaken in New York City,” said Joseph P. Romano, CEO at JRM. “We’re honored to have played a pivotal role in delivering 1.3 million square feet of interior spaces that reflect JPMorgan Chase’s commitment to innovation, wellness, and workplace excellence.”

From concept to completion, sustainability and performance were central to JRM’s approach. The interiors were meticulously crafted to support LEED Platinum, WELL, and Fitwel certifications — reflecting the project’s dedication to environmental stewardship, employee health, and long-term efficiency.

Every floor showcases a commitment to human-centric design, with abundant natural light, flexible workspaces, and wellness-oriented amenities that foster creativity, collaboration, and balance. The corporate dining facilities rival top-tier hospitality environments, while the wellness centers promote physical and mental health through integrated fitness and relaxation spaces.

The project also features advanced smart building systems, enabling real-time monitoring of air quality, temperature, and energy efficiency. These innovations help optimize both comfort and sustainability — a key goal for JPMorgan Chase as it continues to redefine what a modern corporate headquarters can be.

Beyond technical achievement, the project underscores JRM’s reputation as a national leader in large-scale interior construction. The company’s ability to deliver complex, high-performance environments on tight timelines has made it a trusted partner to leading developers and Fortune 500 clients.

“Every aspect of this project demonstrates JRM’s ability to perform at the highest level — balancing precision craftsmanship with scale,” Romano said. “The 270 Park Avenue headquarters sets a new standard for what a workplace can achieve, both functionally and sustainably.”

The new 270 Park Avenue tower now stands as a landmark addition to the Manhattan skyline and a symbol of JPMorgan Chase’s enduring presence in New York City. The project not only reshapes the urban landscape but also sets a precedent for how global institutions can combine architectural excellence, employee well-being, and sustainability goals in a single, cohesive space.
