Machinio Expands Platform to Support Service Providers with New Service Management Tools
Chicago, IL — October 22, 2025 - Machinio, a Liquidity Services (NASDAQ: LQDT) company and one of the world’s leading online marketplaces for buying and selling used machinery and equipment, is broadening its Machinio System platform with a new suite of Service Management features designed to elevate the service side of its users’ businesses.
Traditionally focused on equipment sales, the Machinio System now enables customers to advertise, manage, and streamline service offerings, acknowledging that many dealers and resellers derive a significant share of their revenue from equipment servicing, repairs, installations, and related support.
“We recognized that a significant portion of our customers’ revenue was generated from supplementary services, however, many users were not advertising and managing this part of their business online,” said Robin Hargadon, VP and General Manager of Machinio. “We built service-specific features to make it easy for our customers to promote and expand this key driver of their revenue.”
New Features and Functionality
The newly launched Service Management module introduces a full suite of tools that integrate seamlessly into the Machinio System CRM, providing clarity, automation, and data-driven insights for service-driven operations.
Key features include:
Service Requests
Dealers can now separate inbound service inquiries from machinery sales leads, allowing for faster and more organized responses.
Service-Specific Pages and Forms
Clients can create dedicated, SEO-optimized service pages to promote individual offerings with inquiry forms that capture service-related details upfront, ensuring more accurate lead qualification.
Integrated CRM Workflow
All service inquiries automatically sync with the CRM, connecting to relevant company or contact records and notifying assigned users instantly — minimizing manual input and improving efficiency.
Dashboard Visibility
The dashboard now features a separate view for service leads, distinct from equipment sales or webshop leads, giving users greater visibility into service pipeline performance.
Direct Quoting from CRM
Users can generate and send service quotes directly within the CRM, simplifying the workflow from initial inquiry to final proposal.
Strong Market Response
Since the soft launch of the Service Management tools earlier this year, Machinio has seen a rapid adoption rate among its clients.
According to company data, 75% of Machinio System users have already begun promoting at least one service on their websites, with most showcasing two to three different service offerings. Moreover, Service Requests now account for over 20% of total inbound inquiries — a number expected to grow as more equipment dealers and service-only businesses leverage the new capabilities.
“Machinio System’s Service Requests has been a game-changer for our team,” said Jenny Zembrzycki of Island Yacht Management & Sales. “Having everything in one place makes the process incredibly easy to access and manage, and both our service and sales teams love being able to manage directly through the backend of our Machinio System CRM. It has truly made the entire process seamless and efficient. This has been a huge upgrade compared to our previous system.”
Future Expansion and Vision
Building on this momentum, Machinio is already developing additional service-specific features aimed at deepening support for equipment dealers and attracting service-exclusive businesses — such as maintenance firms, technical service providers, and parts specialists — that want a unified digital platform for marketing and managing their operations.
This expansion reinforces Machinio’s broader mission to digitally empower the heavy equipment ecosystem, allowing dealers and service providers to manage sales, inventory, marketing, and customer relationships all in one place.
“Our goal is to ensure that every aspect of our customers’ business — from machinery listings to service offerings — has the digital tools it needs to grow,” Hargadon said. “By expanding Machinio System’s capabilities, we’re creating an ecosystem that reflects how equipment businesses truly operate today.”
