Berghammer established the Golden Hammer Awards to recognize trade and industry partners whose work supports project outcomes. The 2026 event marked the program’s 20th year.
Trade partners contribute specialized expertise across construction activities, helping projects meet technical requirements and quality expectations. Strong working relationships between contractors and their partners can also support coordination across project phases.
Berghammer also acknowledged its own team members for their role in maintaining these partnerships and supporting collaborative project delivery.
The milestone underscores the role of trade partner relationships in construction performance. Recognizing subcontractors and other industry partners can reinforce the importance of quality, coordination and consistent execution across projects.
For general contractors, effective collaboration with specialty trades is a key part of delivering work across sectors such as healthcare, education, industrial and multifamily construction. Programs such as the Golden Hammer Awards provide a formal way to acknowledge the companies contributing to those efforts.
