Fix-It Group has expanded its home services network in Florida through a partnership with Lickety Split Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical, a Jacksonville-based provider of residential heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical services.
Announced on October 20, 2026, the partnership represents Fix-It Group’s seventh addition of the year and brings its nationwide presence to 12 markets. The company said the arrangement will focus on building on Lickety Split’s recent growth while investing in its workforce and strengthening operational support.
The partnership is intended to support Lickety Split’s continued development while maintaining its local service presence. Fix-It Group said its model combines local leadership with national resources, including operational support, marketing and employee development.
The company’s strategy centres on growing established home services businesses while retaining an emphasis on service quality and craftsmanship. Financial terms of the Jacksonville partnership were not disclosed.
Fix-It Group has highlighted preventative maintenance as part of its approach to residential heating and cooling services. Its stated practices include more comprehensive air conditioning system cleaning, including removing and cleaning blower wheels, rather than relying solely on routine tune-ups.
Such work can require additional labour compared with basic maintenance. The company says its approach is intended to help reduce equipment problems and support longer-term customer relationships. The announcement did not provide independent performance data measuring the results of these practices.
The Jacksonville deal adds to Fix-It Group’s expansion activity during 2026. The company reports that its partner businesses grow to more than three times their original size on average within the first two years of partnership, though it did not provide details on the number of businesses or methodology behind that figure.
The companies have not announced a transaction value or specific targets for staffing, revenue or service-area expansion following the partnership.
The partnership reflects continued consolidation in the US home services sector, where HVAC, plumbing and electrical providers can gain access to broader operational and marketing resources through larger platforms. For Jacksonville homeowners, the immediate significance is the addition of Lickety Split to a wider network, while any changes to services, staffing or pricing remain unconfirmed.
