Sundt Construction has completed Jewel Plummer Cobb Hall, a six-storey student housing complex at California State University, Fullerton, providing 512 beds and reduced-rate accommodation options for eligible students.
The project was celebrated on October 15, 2026, with university leaders and community partners. The development was supported by the California State University Higher Education Student Housing Grant Program and designed by HMC Architects.
Located beside the university’s Arboretum and Botanical Garden in Fullerton, California, Jewel Plummer Cobb Hall features apartment-style accommodation with kitchens and living areas. The facility also includes apartments for resident advisers and staff, laundry facilities, a convenience market, Sequoia Café and outdoor gathering spaces.
The development follows a wellness-focused “garden home” concept, with a tranquil courtyard designed to provide students with a space to gather and connect.
The project reflects the university’s focus on creating housing that supports student well-being while providing practical residential amenities.
Jewel Plummer Cobb Hall marks Sundt Construction’s second student housing project with California State University, Fullerton. Students moved into the new complex in late August 2026 for the fall semester.
The reduced-rate housing options are intended for eligible students through the CSU Higher Education Student Housing Grant Program.
