Legacy Infrastructure Group Announces Acquisition of Constructors, Inc. and New Mexico Ready Mix

KANSAS CITY, Missouri — September 26, 2026 — Legacy Infrastructure Group (“Legacy”), a Kansas City-based infrastructure holding company, announced the acquisition of Constructors, Inc. and New Mexico Ready Mix, established construction and materials businesses serving communities throughout New Mexico and West Texas. The acquisition marks the latest step in Legacy’s continued growth across the Midwest and Southwest, bringing together companies with deep local roots, experienced teams and a shared commitment to building and maintaining the infrastructure their communities depend on.

Headquartered in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Constructors, Inc. has served the region since 1958. For three generations, the company has built a strong reputation in asphalt paving, highway construction, site development, utility infrastructure and materials production. New Mexico Ready Mix complements those operations through its ready-mix concrete and materials capabilities in southeastern New Mexico.

Superior Bowen, a Kansas City-based asphalt paving and construction company founded in 1948, became Legacy’s first operating company when the organization was formed in 2022. Since then, Legacy has grown to include Haskell Lemon in Oklahoma City, J&R Constructors in Liberal, Kansas, and Construction Materials Testing Group in Kansas City.
