P&J's Construction

Following his father's footsteps, Teddy Phillips, son of founder Ted Sr., embodies the spirit and values that have shaped P&J.

After joining the company in an official capacity in 1989, he rose through the ranks, taking the helm as CEO in 2009 when Ted Sr. passed the torch.

Over the past three decades, Teddy has been instrumental in P&J's growth, spearheading recent efforts to re-envision the company's focus markets.

His tenure has seen him serve as Vice President of Real Estate & Corporate Development, Executive Vice President, President, CEO, and Vice Chairman. Under his leadership, P&J has achieved significant growth and maintained consistent profitability.

P&J's Ongoing Pursuit of Cutting-Edge Construction Solutions

Since the 1950s, P&J has embraced technology's evolution. From in-house equipment modifications to developing tracking software and real-time databases, they constantly integrate new tools to serve their clients better.

Their pioneering Automated Debris Management System (ADMS), one of the first contractor-developed systems on a USACE relief effort, has paved the way for specialized vegetation management systems.

This allows them to provide Right-Of-Way (ROW) maintenance services with the best possible analysis and precision.

Quality and Stewardship at P&J

Getting the job done right, without shortcuts or compromises, is ingrained in their DNA. It's a commitment that stems from their roots in the Appalachian Mountains. The wild beauty of this region inspires P&J’s to be responsible stewards, preserving its grandeur for generations to come.
