TAMPA, Fla. — A new push to modernize construction operations is gaining traction as Kaliun announced a $250,000 investment to accelerate the rollout of its AI-powered construction management platform designed specifically for residential contractors.
The funding, led by Tomer Amar, founder of TGA Kitchens & Remodeling, along with private investors, will support development and national expansion of the all-in-one construction CRM platform.

The company aims to replace fragmented tools commonly used across the industry — including spreadsheets, paper invoices and disconnected software — with a single, integrated system tailored to real-world construction workflows.
“While the rest of the industry debates whether to adopt AI, we already built the future. Kaliun isn’t an upgrade, it’s a replacement for everything contractors have been settling for,” Amar said.
Kaliun enters a construction market that continues to struggle with inefficiencies tied to outdated processes and limited technology adoption. Industry estimates suggest residential contractors lose up to 30% to 35% of potential revenue due to miscommunication, poor tracking and operational gaps.
“The construction industry is a $3.2 trillion market still running on spreadsheets and handshakes,” Amar said. “Every construction CRM on the market was built by software companies guessing at what contractors need. Kaliun was built on the jobsite, solving real problems in real time.”
Unlike traditional software platforms, Kaliun was developed based on firsthand construction experience, reflecting workflows from project inception to final payment. The platform integrates multiple functions, including proposal generation, project tracking, subcontractor management and invoicing, into a single interface.
Its artificial intelligence capabilities extend across various modules, enabling automated proposal creation, real-time expense tracking and data-driven cost categorization. The system is also designed to support future enhancements such as predictive scheduling and automated client communication.
The platform’s comprehensive feature set targets a wide range of operational challenges faced by contractors. These include managing subcontractor bids, tracking material selections, monitoring project milestones and maintaining client communication.
Amar said the residential construction sector remains underserved by existing technology solutions, particularly when compared to enterprise-level tools built for large commercial contractors.
“The residential construction market is massively underserved by technology,” he said. “Most contractors are still running their entire business from a pickup truck with a phone and a notepad. We built Kaliun to change that — to give every general contractor the same operational power that billion-dollar commercial firms have access to, without the complexity or the price tag.”
“We are not building another generic SaaS product,” Amar added. “We are building the operating system for residential construction.”
Currently onboarding early adopters in Florida, Kaliun plans a phased national expansion beginning in the third quarter of 2026. Future updates to the platform include a subcontractor marketplace and enhanced communication tools powered by integrated messaging systems.
The platform is available via web and mobile applications, with iOS and Android versions currently in beta testing.
