Clean-Seas WV Begins Construction of Plastic-to-Fuel Facility

Caroline Raffetto

LOS ANGELES, CA / March 10, 2025 / Clean Vision Corporation (OTCQB: CLNV) ("Clean Vision" or the "Company") is excited to announce that its subsidiary, Clean-Seas West Virginia (CSWV), has completed the necessary financing for its groundbreaking clean energy initiative in Belle, West Virginia. The company secured $15 million in funding from Huntington National Bank, enabling the construction of its first Plastic Conversion Network (PCN) facility in the U.S. This facility will convert waste plastic into clean fuels, including clean hydrogen.

The Belle facility is initially designed to process 50 tons of plastic per day (tpd), with the capability to scale up to over 200 tpd. This project is a major step forward for sustainable energy, supporting environmental efforts while also fostering the creation of green jobs in the Kanawha Valley.

Clean-Seas West Virginia has already secured the necessary equipment for the facility, with deliveries expected in the summer of 2025. The retrofitting of the 60,000-square-foot building began on March 1, 2025, and is focused on preparing the space for the advanced pyrolysis reactors and clean fuel storage, alongside a chemical lab for the analysis of Plastic Pyrolysis Oil (PPO) and office areas.

The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services are being provided by UPS Industrial Services, and the project is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

This initiative exemplifies Clean-Seas West Virginia’s commitment to innovative, eco-friendly energy solutions and supporting the region’s economic growth. By converting plastic waste into valuable clean fuel, the facility will not only reduce the impact of plastic pollution but also create significant job opportunities in West Virginia.
