Encore Construction Selected for Key Commercial Project in Nation’s Capital

WASHINGTON, Feb. 20, 2025 — Encore Construction is proud to announce the start of construction for the first Sugared + Bronzed location in Washington, D.C.. The popular California-based sugaring hair-removal and sunless-tanning company currently operates in several states, including New York, California, Pennsylvania, and Texas, and is now expanding into the nation’s capital.

This new location will bring a touch of California sunshine to Washington, D.C., where the Sugared + Bronzed brand is set to serve residents with its signature beauty services.

Project Details and Scope

The new Sugared + Bronzed will be located on Wisconsin Avenue in northwest Washington, D.C., occupying a 1,436 square-foot space. The scope of the project includes:

• Structural work
• Exterior storefront window expansion
• Interior and exterior finishes
• Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Sprinkler system
• Fire alarm installation

The project is expected to take approximately two months to complete, with Encore Construction overseeing all phases of the buildout.
