Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut (CT ABC) was chartered in 1976 as a Chapter of the national ABC, originally beginning in 1972 as the Yankee Chapter with 112 members. CT ABC is the recognized advocate and defender of merit shop contractors in Connecticut, serving as the merit shop construction industry's voice with legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government. Its mission: connecting, protecting, growing, and defending member interests through advocacy, education, safety programs, and workforce development.
