The Pelican Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors is one of 67 chapters of a national construction industry trade association representing more than 21,000 members. Founded on the Merit Shop Philosophy in 1980, ABC Pelican's core purpose is to advance and defend the principles of the merit shop in the construction industry and to provide members and their employees with an opportunity to succeed. The chapter serves Louisiana's commercial and industrial construction community as the voice of Louisiana's merit shop construction industry.
