CHICAGO, Ill. — National infrastructure builder F.H. Paschen convened project leaders from across the country this week for its annual National Job Order Contracting (JOC) Summit, reinforcing the company’s role in shaping best practices for renovation and repair projects nationwide.

Held in Chicago, the three-day leadership summit brought together experts from more than a dozen states and F.H. Paschen regional offices to focus on operational consistency, standardized execution and improved project delivery across the company’s growing portfolio of JOC work.

As one of the nation’s leading JOC contractors, F.H. Paschen specializes in fast, cost-effective construction solutions designed to streamline renovations and ongoing facility repairs. Company leaders said the annual summit plays a critical role in aligning teams around shared standards while strengthening collaboration across regions.

“Gathering our national JOC leadership in Chicago allows us to align our efforts and ensure we are delivering consistent results for every client,” said Chuck Freiheit, Chief Operating Officer at F.H. Paschen. “By focusing on our core standards and project setup, we continue to lead the way in how this industry builds.”

Focus on Standardization and Project Excellence

The summit agenda included in-depth sessions on national operating standards, proposal development, subcontractor coordination and quality control — all aimed at improving efficiency and consistency from procurement through project closeout.

Participants also explored emerging technology tools and evolving program management strategies intended to further streamline the “procurement-to-completion process,” a defining feature of F.H. Paschen’s JOC Division.

In addition to technical training, the event emphasized the importance of people operations, brand growth and administrative systems that support the company’s expanding national footprint and growing list of public-sector clients.

Serving a Broad Range of Public Agencies

F.H. Paschen’s JOC program supports a wide array of public institutions and agencies, including cities and municipalities, parks departments, K-12 school districts, colleges and universities, public safety agencies, state and federal entities, healthcare systems, airports, transportation departments, military installations and water treatment facilities.

The company currently holds dozens of national and regional JOC contracts through cooperative purchasing organizations such as Sourcewell, Equalis, Omnia Partners, Vizient, TIPS, Choice Partners, NCPA and PCA, enabling public owners to accelerate project delivery while maintaining cost certainty.

“We intend to continue to lead the way nationally on JOC,” said Leo Wright, Senior Vice President of F.H. Paschen. “This leadership summit and the collaboration that takes place ensures that the teams managing the work remain at the forefront of the industry.”

Company officials said insights gained during the summit will directly inform future JOC delivery strategies as F.H. Paschen continues to expand its national presence and serve clients seeking efficient, flexible construction solutions.
