The facility is currently under construction in Lincoln Square, a growing development at Ammon and Lincoln Roads that includes restaurants, government offices, fitness facilities and medical services. The new clinic will serve residents in Ammon, Iona and Idaho Falls, offering expanded access to walk-in care closer to home.
Eastern Bonneville County has experienced steady residential and commercial growth in recent years, increasing demand for nearby medical services. Bingham Healthcare officials say the new location is intended to improve convenience while helping reduce strain on local hospital emergency departments.
The clinic will provide treatment for non-life-threatening conditions, giving families an alternative to emergency room visits for routine urgent care needs.
“We’re excited to open this clinic to this part of Idaho Falls,” said Jake Erickson, CEO of Bingham Healthcare. “As this region continues to grow, so does the need for accessible, trusted medical care. Our clinic will provide families with a reliable option when they need immediate attention.”
By positioning the clinic in Lincoln Square, healthcare leaders aim to integrate medical access into an already active commercial corridor, making it easier for residents to combine errands, work and healthcare in one area.
The urgent care clinic will operate seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with no appointment required.
Services will include treatment for:
The facility will also feature on-site X-ray and laboratory services, allowing many patients to receive diagnostic testing and treatment in a single visit.
“This clinic reflects our patient-centered approach and helps ensure people can receive the right level of care in the right setting, close to home,” Erickson said.
Healthcare providers nationwide are facing increasing patient volumes, particularly in fast-growing communities. By expanding urgent care capacity, Bingham Healthcare aims to help balance patient flow across the region’s healthcare system.

Officials say urgent care centers play a key role in managing healthcare demand by treating non-emergency conditions efficiently and reducing overcrowding in hospital emergency rooms. That approach can shorten wait times and ensure critical care resources remain available for life-threatening cases.
The Lincoln Square location is expected to create new healthcare jobs, including clinical staff, radiology technicians and administrative personnel, further strengthening the local economy.
As construction continues, Bingham Healthcare leaders say the new clinic represents both a response to current growth and a long-term investment in eastern Idaho’s healthcare access. Residents can expect additional updates as the projected June opening approaches.
