Construction companies expanding specialized project delivery capabilities continue to adjust leadership structures to support growth across regional markets. Caddell Construction has elevated Jamie Dorland to senior vice president of its commercial division, a move that broadens his operational responsibilities and strengthens oversight of key commercial markets.
Dorland joined Caddell Construction in 2021, bringing more than two decades of industry experience. Since joining the organization, he has helped expand the company's automation-focused construction services, including both new facility construction and warehouse modernization projects.
His experience spans multiple leadership positions throughout the construction industry, including project engineering, field supervision, project management, executive leadership and business operations roles. Over the course of his career, Dorland has directed projects with a combined value exceeding $2 billion.
In his new position, Dorland will lead operations for Caddell Construction's offices in Bentonville and Phoenix. His responsibilities include oversight of project execution, regional teams and commercial market activities within those territories.
The expanded role aligns with Caddell Construction's efforts to support continued growth in commercial construction sectors while maintaining management resources across multiple geographic markets.
Dorland also serves on the advisory board of John Brown University and has contributed to various company initiatives during his tenure with Caddell Construction.
The promotion comes as demand continues for construction services supporting logistics, distribution and warehouse automation facilities. Contractors with expertise in both ground-up development and modernization of existing industrial assets have become increasingly active in serving owners seeking operational upgrades.
Caddell Construction's automation-related project experience has been a notable component of its commercial portfolio in recent years, reflecting broader investment in supply chain and distribution infrastructure.
