LiRo-Hill Supports Adaptive Reuse of Monmouth County Emergency Services Training Facility

LiRo-Hill participated in the completion and opening of the MedStar Central Regional Headquarters and Emergency Services Training Center in Monmouth County, New Jersey.

Adaptive Reuse and Facility Upgrades

The project involved renovation and conversion of an existing firehouse into an approximately 11,000-square-foot training and operations facility for the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office MedStar Central emergency services team.

LiRo-Hill provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services supporting modernization of the building’s systems infrastructure.

Project upgrades included new HVAC systems, electrical improvements, plumbing enhancements, emergency power systems and fire protection infrastructure intended to support emergency response training operations.

The facility was designed to provide updated operational and training space for emergency personnel.

Site and Civil Engineering Improvements

In addition to building systems work, LiRo-Hill delivered site and civil engineering services for the project.

Scope elements included parking lot upgrades, drainage improvements and accessibility modifications intended to improve circulation and site functionality.

The project team also completed a minor realignment of Heliport Road to improve traffic flow and vehicle safety around the training center.
