Safety performance across industrial maintenance, refinery operations and turnaround projects has earned AlumaSafway multiple national industry awards in Canada. The company, part of the BrandSafway group, received recognition for its 2025 safety performance, including individual employee achievement and the performance of industrial site teams working under demanding maintenance and outage schedules.
AlumaSafway received multiple Canadian Safety Achievement Awards from the General Presidents’ Maintenance Committee for Canada (GPMC) and the National Maintenance Council for Canada (NMC).
Among the honours was the General Presidents’ Safety Excellence Award, which recognizes signatory employers and labour providers achieving the lowest total recordable incident rate across active General Presidents’ Maintenance Agreement and National Maintenance Agreement projects nationwide.
The recognition reflects safety performance across the company's industrial maintenance operations during 2025.
AlumaSafway Painter Supervisor Luke Chown received the Craft Person of the Year Award for his contribution to maintenance and turnaround work in Eastern Canada.

For industrial owners, general contractors and specialty service providers, the awards demonstrate the importance of injury prevention, workforce supervision and consistent safety practices across ongoing maintenance and major outage activities.
