What the Event Is

The STRUCTURE User Group Conference is C/F Data Systems' biennial gathering for the customer base behind its construction accounting ERP, STRUCTURE. The 2026 edition centers on the rollout of STRUCTURE Cloud, the platform's fully web-based version, giving attendees a first look at new features ahead of general release.

The audience skews toward the back-office side of specialty contracting: controllers, CFOs, project managers, and office administrators from firms in flooring, HVAC, mechanical, drywall, painting, and related trades. Field staff is less represented, since most are on active job sites during the conference window, but the office and finance functions that manage payroll, job costing, and reporting turn out in force.

What’s New in STRUCTURE Cloud

C/F Data Systems is using the conference to introduce several updates tied to the STRUCTURE Cloud release:

  • A fully web-based version of the ERP, replacing the legacy desktop footprint
  • New reporting and analytics capabilities
  • A new workflow engine
  • An advanced document management module
  • A roadmap for third-party payroll integrations, including Lumber

Sessions throughout Day 1 are built around walking customers through these changes in detail, alongside best-practice discussions on getting more out of the software generally.

Where Lumber Fits

Lumber is one of the top sponsors of this year's conference and will be exhibiting alongside other third-party solutions, including change management platform ClearStory. This is the first year C/F Data Systems has opened the conference to outside exhibitors, giving vendors a formal presence in the Vendor Hall rather than a side-table arrangement.

For attendees, Lumber's presence connects directly to one of the year's headline items: C/F Data Systems' roadmap for integrating STRUCTURE Cloud with third-party payroll vendors.

Lumber will have space in the Vendor Hall on Day 1 and dedicated deep-dive time in the Vendor Rooms during Thursday's optional sessions, giving controllers and CFOs a chance to ask detailed questions about payroll integration outside the main session format.

What attendees can do at the Lumber booth or session:

  • See how Lumber's payroll platform integrates with STRUCTURE Cloud.
  • Ask implementation and timeline questions directly with Lumber experts.
  • Compare payroll options alongside other vendors in the hall.
  • Get a head start on planning a transition ahead of general release.

Why Attendees Should Explore Beyond the Main Session

C/F Data Systems has structured this year's event with a wide vendor hall, multiple breakout tracks, and dedicated Q&A blocks specifically so customers get more than a product demo. Attendees who treat the conference as strictly a main-stage event will miss the exhibitor conversations, peer networking, and vendor deep dives that make up a large share of the two-day schedule — including the Thursday sessions built around one-on-one time with vendors like Lumber.
