ABC Carolinas Annual Construction Convention 2024 Set to Empower Future Leaders in Greenville

The ABC Carolinas (ABCC) Annual Construction Convention is scheduled to take place from August 7-9, 2024, at The Hyatt Regency Greenville, SC. This year’s theme, "Building the Next Generation: Inspiring and Training Future Construction Leaders," promises a dynamic three-day event aimed at fostering leadership and innovation in the construction industry.

Milwaukee Tool will headline the convention as the presenting sponsor, supporting ABCC’s mission to cultivate the next wave of industry professionals. Kristen Powell, President and CEO of ABC Carolinas, emphasized the convention’s role in advancing their 2024 initiative of developing future leaders. "Our program is designed to empower young professionals and provide guidance for current leaders on effective mentorship and leadership strategies," Powell stated.

Allen Amsler, ABCC’s 2024 Board Chair, highlighted the growth opportunities in the Carolinas construction sector and stressed the importance of nurturing a skilled workforce from within.

The convention will commence on August 7 with the Annual Construction Convention Golf Tournament at Furman Golf Club, followed by a Welcome Reception later that evening. Over the subsequent two days, attendees will participate in breakfast and lunch sessions featuring prominent speakers and industry leaders. Evenings are left free for networking and exploring Greenville’s vibrant downtown.

• Keynote General Session with Sean Glass: Former U.S. Navy SEAL officer and leadership instructor at Echelon Front, Sean Glass will share insights on building high-performance teams.
• The Art of Communication from Jonathan Parker: A seasoned communicator and strategist, Jonathan Parker will focus on enhancing leadership and communication skills.
