Ahearn Equipment, a nearly 50-year-old company, has officially joined the HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America dealer network. The Hudson, New Hampshire location will now offer sales and service for the full lineup of Hyundai construction machinery to customers throughout the state.

Founded initially as an agricultural equipment dealership in Massachusetts, Ahearn expanded over the decades into Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Around 2011, the company began transitioning its focus toward construction equipment to meet changing regional needs. Today, under the leadership of brothers Josh and Jeremy Ahearn—sons of the company’s founder—Ahearn Equipment has broadened its offerings beyond compact machinery to include heavy equipment and equipment rentals.

“We’re genuinely excited to be carrying the full lineup of Hyundai construction equipment,” said Justin Adams, sales director at Ahearn Equipment. “Josh and I really advocated to bring in the Hyundai brand. I worked with my dad in construction for many years, and we ran a Hyundai 2001 160-LC3 excavator for more than 6,000 hours with minimal issues. Hyundai equipment is easy to sell and service. It’s a product we believe in.”

Looking ahead, Ahearn plans to continue growing its rental fleet and service offerings to meet increasing demand in the region’s construction sector. The dealership is also exploring opportunities to add new equipment lines and expand its geographic reach within New England.
