Andersen Corporation has announced a new installation services program aimed at supporting builders and contractors in the Twin Cities while also revealing plans to acquire a regional installation firm to accelerate the initiative.
The window and door manufacturer said the new offering will provide professional installation services for residential new construction and remodeling projects sold through select Andersen dealers in the region.
The rollout is intended to enhance the company’s customer experience by providing support across the entire purchasing process — from product selection and ordering to delivery, installation and ongoing service.
Company officials said the new installation service was developed in response to growing demand among contractors and builders for skilled installation professionals familiar with Andersen’s products.
The program will initially launch through select dealers in the Twin Cities and may expand to additional markets in the future.
Installations will be carried out by specially trained contractors who are experienced in installing Andersen window and door systems according to the company’s technical standards.
Products installed through the service will include warranty protections that combine Andersen’s product warranties with a newly introduced installation warranty.
By offering installation directly through its dealer network, the company hopes to simplify the process for builders while improving quality control and project coordination.
To help launch the installation services program, Andersen plans to acquire Minnesota Weatherization Specialists, a long-time Andersen dealer that provides installation services for windows and doors in the Twin Cities market.
The acquisition will bring experienced installers directly into Andersen’s internal service team, allowing the company to scale the installation program more quickly.
As part of the transition, Minnesota Weatherization Specialists’ remaining residential dealer operations will be shifted to other local Andersen dealers.
