Continued investment in mixed-use residential developments is reshaping urban waterfront districts across Florida. Construction has begun on Manor Riverwalk in downtown Tampa, adding new housing, retail space and public-oriented amenities to one of the city's growing riverfront corridors.
Balfour Beatty has commenced construction of Manor Riverwalk, a 24-story residential tower at 101 S. Parker Street along the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa.
The development, commissioned by Related Group, will include 369 residential units, about 18,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and a parking structure with 788 spaces. Arquitectónica designed the building, while ID & Design International is providing interior design services.
The project also features a 23,000-square-foot elevated amenity deck overlooking the riverfront and downtown skyline.
Plans call for a range of resident amenities, including resort-style swimming pools, outdoor gathering areas, fitness and wellness facilities, entertainment spaces and coworking areas designed to accommodate flexible work arrangements.
The project is located near Kennedy Boulevard on the west bank of the Hillsborough River, providing access to the Tampa Riverwalk, the University of Tampa, Plant Park and downtown attractions.
