Restaurant development continues to generate opportunities for commercial contractors as national brands expand their retail footprints. BBL has completed construction of a new Chipotle restaurant in Malta, New York, delivering the building shell and core site infrastructure for the project.
The completed facility adds another quick-service restaurant location to the Capital Region and reflects continued investment in commercial retail development.
BBL's work included construction of the building shell along with extensive site development and exterior improvements.
The project scope included site work, underground utilities, wood framing, Hardie siding, aluminum storefront systems featuring Chipotle's pickup window, site lighting, PVC roofing, insulation, drywall, electrical service, a dumpster enclosure, and monument signage.
The company completed the exterior building and supporting infrastructure required for the restaurant's operation.
Following completion of the shell construction, PALCON Inc. performed the interior fit-out on behalf of Chipotle.
The combined efforts delivered a finished restaurant ready for occupancy and operation.
Quick-service restaurant projects continue to support commercial construction activity through new ground-up developments and tenant expansions. For construction owners, developers, and contractors, projects like the Malta Chipotle highlight ongoing demand for retail construction, coordinated shell and tenant improvements, and efficient project delivery for national restaurant operators.
