Facility modernization projects continue to help commercial property owners extend the service life of existing assets while improving operational performance. BBL has completed a renovation project at the Classic Auto Wash facility in Johnstown, New York, delivering building and site upgrades as part of the property's modernization.

The 5,200-square-foot project included the construction of a new two-bay self-service car wash built with concrete masonry unit (CMU) construction.
BBL also upgraded the building's exterior with a new metal panel façade, completed asphalt paving improvements and installed updated exterior signage.
In addition, the project included the installation of new self-service car wash equipment to support day-to-day operations.
Rather than constructing a new facility, the project focused on renovating and enhancing the existing property through building, site and equipment improvements.
The combination of structural upgrades, pavement work and new equipment is intended to improve operational efficiency while providing updated amenities for customers using the facility.
Renovation and adaptive improvement projects remain an important segment of the commercial construction market, allowing property owners to modernize existing facilities without full replacement. For contractors and developers, projects such as the Classic Auto Wash renovation demonstrate continued demand for building upgrades, site improvements and equipment modernization that extend the value and functionality of commercial assets.
