An expansion at Greene Medical Arts in Catskill, New York, is advancing as BBL Construction Services renovates the existing building to accommodate an ambulatory surgery centre and additional medical office space.
The project includes approximately 18,515 square feet for the surgery centre and a 4,700-square-foot medical office addition, along with improvements to the surrounding site.
The development will expand the facility’s clinical and office space, adding capacity for medical services within the existing property.
Structural steel installation for Phase 1 is substantially complete, with Troy Ironworks involved in the work. Exterior framing is now underway as construction teams continue foundation activities and parking lot work.
The concurrent activities mark progress across the building structure and site infrastructure. Further work will be required to complete the expanded medical facility and associated improvements.
Healthcare construction projects often require coordination between building renovations, new additions and site improvements while meeting the functional needs of medical facilities.
At Greene Medical Arts, the planned surgery centre and medical office addition will increase the amount of dedicated healthcare space at the Catskill property. BBL Construction Services has not disclosed the total project cost, expected completion date or additional details about the facility’s planned clinical services.
