KANARRAVILLE, Utah – a nationally recognized leader in the construction and steel industries, today announced that it has been awarded the “Inc. Best in Business 2024” award for the construction industry. This esteemed global recognition highlights the significance of the BZI Innovation Park, celebrating its innovation, inspiration, and positive impact on both local communities and various industry sectors.

The “Inc. Best in Business” awards celebrate companies that have achieved outstanding milestones, product launches, customer expansions, and industry-defining accomplishments on a global scale. The BZI Innovation Park, a sprawling 820-acre facility, is setting new benchmarks for industrial excellence. The complex will enhance the transportation and processing of raw materials, improving supply chain efficiency for global companies in key industries such as construction manufacturing, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and warehouse distribution.

Notably, BZI Innovation Park is one of the few facilities in the southern Utah region offering rail and transload services, improving connectivity for businesses and expanding access to global shipping networks. This will result in job creation and new commerce opportunities.

BZI CEO James Barlow expressed pride in the company’s achievement: “Our investment in the BZI Innovation Park represents BZI’s commitment to shaping southern Utah’s industrial future and creating a center of gravity for innovation, collaboration, and economic vitality. We’re paving the way for growth and opportunity in the region and beyond.”

Recently, the Utah Inland Port Authority recognized BZI Innovation Park’s role by designating it as part of Union Pacific’s Focus Site program, enhancing the park’s strategic importance for logistics and transportation in the Western U.S. This designation further solidifies the site's role in supporting warehouse development and rail connectivity.

The BZI Innovation Park has received prior accolades, including the Rural Investor Award and Rural Rockstar Award, underscoring its impact on economic and commerce growth in rural areas.
