C.W. DRIVER ELEVATES THREE WOMEN ACROSS FIELD, PROJECT AND EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

Construction Owners Editorial Team

In July, builder promoted women in key leadership and management positions

AUGUST 11, 2026 – Pasadena, Calif. - C.W. Driver Companies, a premier California builder since 1919, continues its longstanding commitment to advancing women in the construction industry with three new executive leadership promotions in July. Milenne Vega was elevated to superintendent, Megan Morrissey was promoted to senior project manager, and Lynda Hauke was appointed to vice president of human resources. These promotions are meant to inspire others who may be considering this field, that in an industry where women only represent approximately 11% of the construction workforce (National Association of Homebuilders), C.W. Driver is pushing to make an impact.

Milenne Vega, Superintendent: Vega oversees a variety of projects ranging from $1 million renovations to $200 million luxury multifamily units. Carrying a decade of experience, Vega’s expertise spans numerous sectors, including K-12 modernizations, residential developments, and complex tenant improvement projects throughout Southern California. Her ability to lead field operations, maintain a safe construction environment, and ensure projects are completed on time earned her this recognition.

Megan Morrissey, Senior Project Manager: Morrissey has managed much of C.W. Driver’s most critical and complex developments. She led teams and projects to success following the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires and is also directing work on the upcoming MonteCedro Senior Living Phase II complex in Altadena. Morrissey also possesses 17 years of industry experience, building a career with scale and impact by working across multiple market sectors; K-12 and higher education, multifamily and senior living, and entertainment for NBCUniversal.

Lynda Hauke (SHRM-CP), Vice President of Human Resources: Hauke is truly the peoples champion and is focused on developing the next generation of leaders and creating an inclusive company culture. She launched C.W. Driver’s annual Women in Construction event, which builds the opportunity for women to learn, grow, and connect. She is also the backbone behind C.W. Driver’s culture as she has implemented volunteer initiatives, competitive benefits, flexible work schedules, and a people-first culture which has consistently put the firm as a top workplace throughout Southern California.

C.W. Driver believes that women should have ample opportunity to advance their careers. The general contractor hosts a variety of events that foster connection such as Women Build Day events, which supports charities like Habitat for Humanity. Additionally, employees participate in National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) events, helping elevate skillsets and grow further knowledge of industry trends. The firm’s Women Employee Belonging group also supports employees at all levels to grow through mentorship, investment in internal and external conferences, networking and creating trajectories to advance to the next level.
