Construction firms continue to pursue strategic acquisitions to strengthen regional operations and expand specialized capabilities. Catamount Constructors has added Denver-based Pinkard Construction to its employee-owned platform, expanding its footprint in Colorado and enhancing services for commercial construction clients.
Pinkard Construction, established in Colorado in 1962, has become part of Catamount Constructors. The transaction combines Pinkard's long-standing presence in the Denver market with Catamount's national construction platform.
Pinkard serves clients across affordable housing, multifamily, senior living, healthcare, education, municipal, office, recreation, and advanced industry markets. Existing leadership and client relationships will remain in place while gaining access to Catamount's broader resources and nationwide operations.
The acquisition also adds Pinkard Frameworks, Pinkard's in-house wood framing division, to Catamount's operations.
The self-perform business provides wood framing services for the company's own projects while also supporting developers and general contractors throughout Colorado's Front Range. The expanded platform strengthens Catamount's ability to deliver integrated construction services while supporting increasingly complex commercial developments.
Catamount, a 100% employee-owned contractor, provides construction management and general contracting services nationwide through offices in Colorado, Georgia, Texas, and Florida.
Strategic acquisitions remain a key growth strategy for contractors seeking to expand geographic reach and specialized construction capabilities. For construction owners and developers, the combination of Catamount Constructors and Pinkard Construction increases access to broader project delivery resources while maintaining an established contractor presence in the Denver market.
