HERNDON, Va., Feb. 25, 2025  — Constellis has announced that its subsidiary Centerra has been awarded a $249 million, five-year Multiple-Award Construction Contract (MACC) for a variety of construction, renovation, and repair projects at the U.S. Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The contract covers Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build services for facilities supporting the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) operations, including critical industrial, infrastructure, administrative, training, and community support structures.

A Long History of Service at Guantanamo Bay

With more than 30 years of experience, Constellis has been providing comprehensive construction and facility maintenance services globally. Since 2015, Constellis has already completed over $165 million worth of work at Guantanamo Bay, including 45+ task orders under the previous MACC iteration and more than 110 self-performed design-bid-build task orders. The company has also maintained a steady presence, with more than 140 personnel stationed on-site, positioning it to efficiently execute follow-on projects with minimal mobilization.

Contract Scope and Operations

The awarded contract will focus on enhancing the base’s infrastructure to support a range of operations and personnel. Work will include repairs to existing structures, new construction projects, and renovation work, ensuring that the facilities meet evolving mission needs.

Constellis’ Centerra is set to continue its pivotal role in supporting the Department of Defense, bringing expertise in both large-scale construction and long-term maintenance services.
