Construction Advances on Noblesville’s Innovation Mile Arena

NOBLESVILLE (WISH) — Construction is moving steadily on the highly anticipated Arena at Innovation Mile, which will serve as the future home of the Noblesville Boom basketball team.
Justin Jordan, the General Manager of the Arena, shared updates on the project’s progress and expressed enthusiasm about how smoothly things are coming together.
“Construction is progressing and we are expecting substantial completion on June 1st,” Jordan said. “We expect programming to start in roughly August or a little after.”
Jordan praised the City of Noblesville for its pivotal role in bringing the project to life, highlighting the city’s hands-on involvement and dedication.
“They have dedicated themselves to taking ownership of the building and they’ve all been incredibly hands-on,” said Jordan.
While the Arena will be the home court for the Noblesville Boom, its use will extend far beyond just basketball. Jordan emphasized that the venue is designed to be a flexible, multi-use space intended to serve the broader community.
“We’re looking at hosting high school basketball, college basketball, volleyball, wrestling, cheerleading, church events, and really anything and everything in between,” Jordan said.

Jordan also stressed that the team’s broader mission is to deliver top-tier entertainment and events to the Noblesville area. “We’re focused on putting on world-class entertainment and bringing it to Noblesville,” he said.
Currently, the final phase of construction is underway, with crews preparing to install key interior features.
“The next exciting thing to have happen will be getting the floors in here and baskets up,” Jordan said, referring to the installation of the playing surfaces and basketball equipment that will transform the space into a ready-to-use arena.
The Arena at Innovation Mile is part of a larger push to enhance sports, entertainment, and community event offerings in Noblesville. City officials have championed the development as a major step forward in expanding local infrastructure and creating new economic and recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike.
Once open, the arena is expected to host not only sporting events but also community gatherings, religious services, concerts, and other large-scale events, making it a versatile hub for the region.
Innovation Mile itself is envisioned as a vibrant district that combines business, sports, entertainment, and community spaces, positioning Noblesville as a destination city within central Indiana.
With the project nearing completion, anticipation is building among sports fans, local residents, and city leaders alike, all eager to see the venue come to life later this year.
