Phase Two Construction Launches at Reno-Sparks' Oddie District Innovation Hub
Construction is officially underway for phase two of The Oddie District, a transformative mixed-use project at 2450 Oddie Blvd. in the Reno-Sparks metro area. The expansion is expected to be completed by late 2025 or early 2026 and will significantly broaden the site’s role as a hub for advanced technology, entrepreneurship, and creative industry.

The project is being developed by Foothill Partners, Inc., with investment capital provided by Belay Investment Group and construction financing secured through Heritage Bank of Nevada.
Phase one of The Oddie District debuted in 2022 as the new home of The Reno Generator, a creative makerspace. Now, with the launch of phase two, the development is being positioned as a central destination for the region’s growing maker-economy and high-tech startup ecosystem.
Phase two tenants will include a mix of pioneering businesses:
- Cartwheel Robotics, a company in the humanoid robotics space
- Nevadaworks, supporting workforce and entrepreneurial development
- The Innovation Collective, a business accelerator
- Coffeebar and Dopo Pizza, focused on food production, distribution, and e-commerce
- Mythic Gymnastics, offering fitness and training
- Ajaba Naturals, a handcrafted health products retailer and manufacturer
The expansion will also introduce The Oddie Commons, a vibrant gathering area offering indoor/outdoor/covered seating for up to 300 guests, anchored by the regional favorite Coffeebar coffeehouse. The Commons will provide a community-centric venue for food, beverage, and entertainment.
With its fusion of industrial creativity, cutting-edge tech, and small business support, The Oddie District continues to attract both local talent and innovative firms seeking collaborative space in Northern Nevada.
Foothill Partners and its investors view the district as a model for revitalizing commercial corridors through inclusive, innovation-driven redevelopment. The integration of advanced robotics, business incubators, food entrepreneurship, and wellness makes phase two a strategic leap forward for the region’s economic future.
