Construction Partners said the new campus will centralize its leadership, administrative functions and technology systems that support operations across eight states. The project is also expected to generate 60 new jobs, adding to the company’s existing workforce of about 50 employees in the area.
Founded in 2001, the company has grown into a multi-state contractor specializing in roadway construction and maintenance, with a strong focus on integrating advanced data systems to enhance operational performance.
State leaders welcomed the announcement, highlighting its role in strengthening Alabama’s position in both infrastructure and technology sectors.
Ellen McNair emphasized the broader impact of the development, stating the project “exemplifies the kind of innovation-driven growth that positions Alabama as a leader in infrastructure and technology.”
“When a company reaches the national stage and chooses to invest in the community that helped build them, that’s a testament to Alabama’s competitive advantages,” McNair said.
Construction on the new headquarters is expected to begin soon, with the facility designed to house a centralized data processing center—an increasingly critical component in modern construction operations.

Company leadership framed the investment as a reaffirmation of its roots in the region and a signal of continued long-term growth.
Executive Chairman Ned Fleming III said the project “reaffirms our long-term commitment to the city that has always been our home.”
By consolidating leadership and technological infrastructure into a single location, the company aims to improve coordination, streamline decision-making and support future expansion across its regional footprint.
The decision to develop a combined headquarters and data processing center reflects a broader shift within the construction industry toward digital integration and centralized operations. As infrastructure firms increasingly rely on real-time data, analytics and project management technologies, dedicated facilities like this one can significantly enhance efficiency, reduce operational silos and improve project delivery timelines. In addition, the project underscores a growing trend of companies reinvesting in their home markets, leveraging local workforce familiarity and regional expertise while contributing to economic development. For the Wiregrass region, the investment not only brings new employment opportunities but also reinforces its role as an emerging hub for construction innovation and back-end operational support.
