ATLANTA, Ga. — Construction Resources Company, LLC has completed the acquisition of The Jarrell Company, a Dallas-based distributor of luxury appliances, plumbing, and lighting products, marking the company’s official entry into the Texas market.

The Jarrell Company operates kitchen and bath showrooms that serve professional builders, interior designers, and contractors across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and Lubbock. As part of the transaction, Eric Neel, President of The Jarrell Company, along with the existing leadership team, will continue to lead day-to-day operations under the Construction Resources umbrella.
“We are excited to have The Jarrell Company as a key partner in the Construction Resources’ family of companies and expand our operations into Texas. CR was attracted to The Jarrell Company based on their leadership team and established culture of providing elevated service levels across their customer base. We plan to invest in their growth and support them as needed to continue delivering premium appliance, plumbing, and lighting offerings to the builder and designer community,” said Mitch Hires, CEO of Construction Resources.
The acquisition strengthens Construction Resources’ portfolio of design-focused building products while adding a strategic geographic foothold in one of the nation’s fastest-growing construction markets. By combining Jarrell’s established showroom presence and customer relationships with Construction Resources’ national scale, the company aims to enhance service offerings for builders and designers throughout the region.
“For more than 75 years, The Jarrell Company has served homebuilders, remodelers, designers, and premium consumers. Currently, The Jarrell Company serves the DFW Metroplex and Lubbock. We are excited to become a part of Construction Resources, and we look forward to serving our customers with the same great service from the same group of professionals for years to come,” said Eric Neel, President of The Jarrell Company.
Construction Resources noted that the acquisition aligns with its broader growth strategy following its December 2023 acquisition by The Home Depot. The company continues to expand its footprint through strategic investments that enhance product selection, geographic reach, and service capabilities for professional customers.
Construction Resources, acquired by The Home Depot in December 2023, is a leading distributor of design-oriented surfaces, appliances, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, and specialty products. The company serves professional contractors and designers focused on renovation, remodeling, and residential home building across the U.S.
