Construction companies are continuing to engage in community support initiatives, with Minnesota-based Crawford Merz LLC launching a holiday fundraising campaign to support hunger-relief services across Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
The company is partnering with Second Harvest Heartland, a hunger-relief organization serving communities across the region, through a virtual food drive. Crawford Merz will match donations made through the campaign through the end of 2026.
The campaign begins with an initial fundraising goal of $300 by Thanksgiving, with the initiative continuing through the holiday season.
The donation-matching commitment is intended to increase contributions to the food drive. Each $1 donated can provide three meals to people facing food insecurity, according to the campaign information.
Second Harvest Heartland works to provide nutritious food to individuals and families across Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
Through the partnership, Crawford Merz is directing its holiday fundraising efforts towards regional food assistance. The virtual format allows contributions to be made through the company's online campaign.
