Corporate Contractors Inc. (CCI) is celebrating two team members recognized in the 2026 Women in Construction Awards presented by The Daily Reporter. DaVette Cravens, senior project coordinator at CCI, was named Hu(wo)manitarian of the Year, while Katrina Grant, special projects coordinator at Lowell Custom Homes, received the Industry Champion of the Year honor. The Daily Reporter’s 2026 honoree list confirms both awards.
Cravens has nine years of construction industry experience and serves as a senior project coordinator at CCI. Her work includes developing a process manual for current and future project coordinators and providing hands-on training for new team members.
She also mentors fellow coordinators and supports communication between subcontractors, project managers and broader project teams. Her responsibilities have included supporting larger and more complex projects requiring detailed coordination.
Grant serves as special projects coordinator at Lowell Custom Homes, CCI’s custom home-building division. She supports complex construction projects and helps teams maintain visibility across leads, active contracts and preconstruction work.
Grant also contributes to improving company procedures and shares knowledge with colleagues, helping teams maintain consistency throughout project planning and delivery.
The Daily Reporter’s annual Women in Construction Awards recognize professionals working across Wisconsin’s building industry, including construction management, project support, design, engineering, field operations and other roles. The 2026 honoree list includes professionals from construction and related organizations across the state.
The recognition highlights the contributions of women working in project coordination, construction operations and other roles that support project delivery. For CCI, the awards also recognize the work of two team members contributing to project processes, collaboration and workforce development.
