Leadership development remains a priority for construction firms seeking to strengthen management capabilities and retain skilled professionals. DEW Construction has recognized six employees who completed the Associated Builders and Contractors of New Hampshire/Vermont Future Leaders in Construction (FLiC) program, an initiative designed to prepare emerging industry leaders.
The graduates represent DEW Construction's Vermont and New Hampshire operations and were recognized during separate ABC New Hampshire/Vermont ceremonies.
The eight-month FLiC program brings together construction professionals from a range of disciplines to develop leadership, communication and collaboration skills. Participants also complete return-on-investment projects that apply lessons learned to workplace operations and business performance.
DEW Construction's 2026 graduates include Project Engineer Cole Russell, Carpenter Dominic Liscinsky, Vice President of Human Resources Trisha Moore, Financial Controller Mitch Laferriere, Foreman Josh Carrien and Marketing Director Wynter Edwards.
The Future Leaders in Construction program, established by Associated Builders and Contractors of New Hampshire/Vermont in 2007, is intended to prepare professionals for greater leadership responsibilities while expanding industry relationships across the region.
By supporting employee participation, DEW Construction continues to invest in professional development, mentorship and career advancement opportunities for employees working in both field and office roles.
Leadership training programs play an important role in helping construction companies develop future supervisors, project managers and executives while strengthening workforce retention. For contractors and construction owners, investing in employee development supports long-term organizational growth and helps build the leadership capacity needed to manage increasingly complex projects.
