Hodnett Takes on Expanded Executive Responsibilities

DonahueFavret Contractors has expanded its executive leadership team with the appointment of Bryan Hodnett as executive vice president, strengthening the management structure at the Mandeville, Louisiana-based commercial general contractor.

Hodnett is a company partner and member of its Board of Directors. During his 15 years with DonahueFavret, he most recently served as vice president of business development, building client relationships and supporting business development efforts.

In his new role, Hodnett will work alongside President and CEO John Donahue and the leadership team on corporate strategy, financial and organizational performance, long-term planning and company-wide initiatives. He will also continue working with clients and industry partners.

Andrews Named Corporate Secretary

Lauren Andrews has been appointed corporate secretary in addition to her existing role as director of administration. She has been with DonahueFavret for more than 20 years.

Her expanded responsibilities include board governance, corporate records, documentation and matters related to the Board of Directors and company ownership. Andrews also oversees administrative functions and the company’s philanthropic activities, including Driving FORE Charity, an annual golf tournament supporting local nonprofit organizations.

The appointments are part of DonahueFavret’s long-term succession planning strategy. The company intends to transition leadership responsibilities over time while maintaining continuity in its operations, company culture and client relationships.

Leadership Planning Supports Business Continuity

The executive changes formalize additional responsibilities for two long-serving members of the organization. Hodnett’s expanded role brings business development experience into broader strategic and operational leadership, while Andrews’ corporate secretary duties add governance responsibilities to her administrative leadership.

For a commercial contractor managing client relationships and a project portfolio, leadership continuity can help maintain organizational stability as business needs evolve.

Why It Matters

Leadership transitions can affect how construction companies manage growth, governance and client relationships. DonahueFavret’s appointments establish expanded responsibilities for experienced internal leaders as the company plans for its future operations.
