A growing construction presence in South Carolina has prompted DPR Construction to establish a larger local workplace in Greenville, providing additional capacity for its regional workforce and customer activity.
DPR opened the approximately 4,300-square-foot office in the historic Borden Ice Cream Factory, an adaptive reuse project that combines the former industrial facility’s existing character with updated workplace infrastructure. The location is designed to support collaboration, employee needs and continued business activity across the Upstate market.
The Greenville office includes open work areas, conference rooms, informal collaboration areas and a central break room and social hub. A dedicated wellness and mother’s room adds additional employee-focused space.
Audio-visual systems and acoustic treatments are integrated throughout the workplace to support meetings and day-to-day collaboration within the open office environment.
The project also retains elements of the former manufacturing building, incorporating its industrial character into the updated office setting. The approach provides DPR with a regional workplace while putting an existing Greenville property to a new commercial use.
DPR’s Greenville workforce has increased significantly over the past two years as local project activity has grown. The new office provides a base for teams working across several construction sectors in the region.
DPR identifies healthcare, advanced manufacturing, higher education and advanced technology among the markets served by its South Carolina operations. The Greenville location also supports the company’s efforts to maintain relationships with customers and project partners throughout the region.
DPR currently lists Greenville among its U.S. office locations, with Zach Pannier serving as Charlotte-Greenville Business Unit Leader.
For construction owners and developers, a new regional office can provide greater local capacity for project delivery, customer coordination and workforce development.
