Evergreen Holdings has expanded its manufacturing platform through the acquisition of Modular Power & Data, strengthening its ability to provide electrical equipment alongside construction services for complex infrastructure projects. The transaction supports broader integration across the electrical construction supply chain, particularly in sectors with growing demand for prefabricated power distribution systems.

Modular Power & Data will become part of Evergreen Holdings' portfolio of employee-owned businesses.

Acquisition Details

Founded in 2020, Modular Power & Data operates manufacturing facilities in Dane and Cudahy, Wisconsin. The company produces a range of power distribution equipment, including UL-listed switchboards, panelboards, automation control panels, remote power panels, electrical enclosures, generator docking stations and bus bar systems.

The manufacturer also maintains ISO 9001 certification, with products built and tested to applicable NEMA, ANSI and IEEE standards for commercial and industrial applications.

Evergreen Holdings, established in late 2024, includes member companies such as Hunt Electric and Baer Manufacturing and focuses on expanding integrated construction and manufacturing capabilities.

Strategic Growth in Electrical Infrastructure

The acquisition broadens Evergreen Holdings' manufacturing capacity for projects requiring specialized electrical infrastructure, including data centers, healthcare facilities, renewable energy developments and other mission-critical environments.

By adding Modular Power & Data's manufacturing expertise, Evergreen Holdings expands its ability to support customers with both electrical construction services and factory-built power distribution solutions. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced.

Why It Matters

Demand for prefabricated electrical equipment continues to increase as contractors seek to improve project schedules, reduce field labor requirements and streamline installation on complex projects. For construction owners and electrical contractors, greater integration between manufacturing and construction services can help improve supply chain coordination and support delivery across rapidly growing sectors such as data centers, healthcare and renewable energy.
