FlatironDragados has established a new corporate base in Metro Atlanta as the infrastructure builder expands its presence in Georgia and the broader Southeast.
The headquarters follows the integration of Flatiron Construction and Dragados North America and serves as a central location for teams, clients and industry partners. FlatironDragados operates across the United States and Canada through its regional operations and subsidiaries, including Prince, Pulice, SPC and J.F. White.
The Atlanta-area location places the organization within a region experiencing continued transportation investment, population growth and demand for infrastructure improvements.
FlatironDragados is currently involved in the SR 400 Express Lanes project in Georgia, a major transportation program intended to improve mobility along the corridor. The project represents part of the company’s work in the state and its broader Southeast infrastructure portfolio.
The headquarters opening brought together Georgia transportation officials, local government representatives, education leaders, industry partners, community representatives and FlatironDragados employees.
The headquarters opening also included a workforce development initiative involving Dawson County High School.
FlatironDragados provided two specialized equipment machinery simulators to the school’s Career, Technical and Agricultural Education program. The equipment is intended to give students practical exposure to technology used in construction equipment operations.
The simulators can introduce students to potential career paths involving equipment operations, skilled trades, engineering, project management and heavy civil construction.
For FlatironDragados, the education investment connects its new regional presence with workforce development efforts in the communities surrounding its operations.
The new headquarters also features spaces focused on safety, engineering, technology, projects, people and company culture, providing a location for employees and external stakeholders to engage with the organization’s work.
The Metro Atlanta headquarters gives FlatironDragados a dedicated base in a region where transportation and infrastructure development remain significant areas of investment. Its location also provides a regional platform for coordinating project teams and relationships with public agencies, clients and industry partners.
The Dawson County High School donation adds a workforce component to the expansion. Construction owners and contractors face ongoing demand for workers with technical and equipment-related skills, making exposure to modern construction technology an important part of career education.
