Construction of major improvements at The Ranch Events Complex in Loveland, Colorado, is moving toward the next stage after Flintco was selected as the construction partner for several projects under the campus Master Plan. The appointment positions the contractor to support planning and preconstruction for a multiyear program aimed at expanding event, recreation and community facilities.
Following a competitive request for proposals process, Flintco will work with The Ranch on Phase II Master Plan projects. The company operates a Colorado office and has experience delivering large-scale sports, entertainment and public assembly facilities.
The Ranch Master Plan is intended to guide long-term investment across the campus while maintaining its role as a venue for concerts, sporting events, fairs, trade shows and community activities.
The program calls for improvements that can support larger and more diverse events, expand recreational opportunities, improve the visitor experience and strengthen the facility’s role in regional tourism. A proposed outdoor amphitheater is among the concepts included in the long-term plan, although final designs, capacities, locations and other project details remain subject to further planning.
The Ranch is positioned near Interstate 25 and serves communities across Northern Colorado, including Loveland, Fort Collins, Greeley and Windsor. Its existing campus includes multiple event and community facilities, making construction sequencing an important consideration as future improvements move forward.
The Phase II work will move through planning and preconstruction before construction activities advance. The Ranch said the projects will be phased so the campus can remain open for scheduled events and daily operations while limiting disruptions.
That approach will require coordination among the owner, construction teams, event operators and other project stakeholders. Maintaining safe public access and separating construction activities from ongoing campus operations will be important as work progresses.
The Master Plan represents a long-term investment rather than a single construction project. The Ranch expects projects to advance over several years, with timing, scope, costs and phasing potentially adjusted as design, feasibility and operational requirements develop.
The selection gives Flintco an opportunity to participate in a multiyear public assembly and entertainment construction program in a growing Colorado market. For contractors and project owners, the work also illustrates the delivery challenges associated with upgrading active event campuses without interrupting existing operations.
Phased construction, early coordination and flexible project planning will be particularly important as The Ranch adds facilities intended to accommodate future events while continuing to serve its existing users.
