Philadelphia's construction market is gaining another experienced business development executive as contractors continue strengthening local relationships across institutional, commercial and residential sectors. Gilbane Building has appointed Angela Fagnani as a business development professional for its Philadelphia operations.
Fagnani will work with clients and industry partners while identifying development opportunities and connecting project requirements with Gilbane's construction capabilities.
Fagnani has nearly 20 years of experience spanning real estate and construction, including market development, client acquisition, construction delivery and asset management.
Her previous market development leadership role involved expanding a project portfolio and strengthening regional presence. Her experience covers health care, higher education, commercial, multifamily, senior living, adaptive reuse and historic preservation.
Fagnani holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Widener University. Her community involvement includes leadership and board activities with Women in Healthcare Philadelphia, the American Heart Association's Hard Hats with Heart, the Lankenau Medical Center Foundation and Kelly's Kidz.
Gilbane has worked in Greater Philadelphia since 1985, with projects spanning health care, higher education and research, life sciences, residential and mixed-use, industrial, and sports and entertainment markets.
Recent Philadelphia-area work cited by Gilbane includes Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, Amtrak's William H. Gray 30th Street Station, the University of Pennsylvania's Amy Gutmann Hall and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Morgan Center for Research and Innovation.
The addition of Fagnani expands the local business development team while supporting Gilbane's existing relationships with owners, developers, health care organizations and institutional clients.
