HG Construction has appointed Greg Purkiss as its new Managing Director, completing the final phase of its corporate restructure. Greg, who previously served as the company's Commercial Director, has been with the company since 2000, starting as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor.

In his new position, Greg will collaborate with CEO Adam Quinn to oversee and manage business operations across the UK.

Over the past five years, HG Construction has experienced significant growth, expanding its presence in various markets, including purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), residential, hotel, retirement, and commercial sectors. The company’s reach has also broadened nationally, with a presence now in Leeds, Manchester, and Bristol, in addition to its established work in London and the Southeast.

Greg’s appointment marks the conclusion of a significant structural overhaul at HG Construction. This has included the formation of a new Operational Board and the appointment of dedicated Construction Directors with regional responsibilities.

Chris Martin, who has been with the company for nine years, has been promoted to Commercial Director. He brings extensive surveying and commercial experience and a commitment to maintaining high standards across the company's commercial operations.
