Minneapolis, MN (June 20, 2024) – HNTB Corporation, a nationally recognized leader in infrastructure solutions, has named Becky Rude as Planning Group Director. Rude brings over 18 years of experience in environmental planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement to HNTB.

Throughout her career, Rude has led environmental planning efforts for various infrastructure projects across the Midwest and Western United States. Her expertise spans all stages of project delivery, from initial planning and programming to post-construction compliance monitoring. A recent accomplishment includes leading the corridor planning and risk assessment for the critically important 29-mile Northeast Entrance Road corridor in Yellowstone National Park.
Prior to joining HNTB, Rude served as a Senior Project Manager for another consulting firm. She holds a Master's degree in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and English Literature from Concordia College Moorhead.
Rude's in-depth understanding of environmental regulations, climate and transportation resilience, and stakeholder engagement will be instrumental in ensuring HNTB's infrastructure projects meet the highest standards for environmental responsibility and community sustainability.
