Holt Construction is strengthening its leadership capacity in the Hudson Valley with the addition of an executive who has experience spanning construction management, engineering, health care and development. The move is intended to support complex project delivery and client coordination as Holt expands its regional operations.
Holt Construction appointed Samuel Paglianite as project executive for its Hudson Valley Division, based at the company's Goshen, New York, office.
Paglianite brings more than 35 years of industry experience, including senior positions such as principal, head of construction services, vice president, senior vice president and director of field engineering.
His responsibilities at Holt will include project leadership, client engagement, preconstruction oversight and construction management. His experience covers projects delivered through design-build and other delivery methods.
Paglianite's background includes health care expansions, institutional work, infrastructure improvements, data centers, renovations, master planning and commercial development.
His project experience extends across the full delivery process, including design evaluation, estimating, bidding, contract negotiations, value engineering, construction and closeout. He has also coordinated design professionals, contractors and authorities having jurisdiction on complex projects.
His experience on both the owner and construction sides of projects adds an operational perspective to Holt's Hudson Valley team, particularly for work involving occupied or active facilities.
Paglianite's appointment comes as Holt continues developing its presence in the Hudson Valley and nearby markets. The company's Goshen office serves as a regional base for its operations.
For construction owners and developers, the addition strengthens Holt's regional leadership resources for projects requiring extensive preconstruction planning, coordination and construction management. Health care and other institutional work can require specialized planning when construction occurs around ongoing operations, making experienced project leadership particularly relevant.
